2019 Mes CHamoru Na'I Campaign

Pay-Less Markets Na'I Campaign

"Na'i" in Chamorro means to give. 2019 marks our 2nd annual Mes Chamoru Na'I Campaign. It is a dual-purpose campaign, which aims to promote Made on Guam products and allows customers to assist in the preservation of the Chamorro culture in a tangible way. Pay-Less carries over 170 "Made on Guam" products that are certified under GEDA's Guam Product Seal (GPS) Program. Throughout the month of March, a portion of all products with a Guam Product Seal logo will be donated towards the Ulitao, Inc. organization

Ulitao, Inc. (2019 Na'I Beneficiary)

Ulitao is a non-profit seafaring organization. They are a passionate group of Guam islanders working to revive, preserve, and grow the Chamorro's ancient seafaring traditions. They skillfully craft every canoe using local resources and traditional techniques. In Feb 2018, they celebrated the completion of Guam's first double hull canoe in more than 400 years. The group intends to use the canoe to learn how to maneuver and navigate, as they desire, and eventually build a larger vessel to sail to Festpac in 2020.
